Hi there!
This week’s stitch is the V- Stitch. I really like how simple this stitch is and how pretty it looks in both a single color and changing colors. Of course like most stitch patterns changing color really makes it pop where as a single color is more subtle. I have a YouTube tutorial for this stitch as well check it out here.
Let’s get started!
This stitch has a multiple of 3. The chain of 2 counts as a stitch. Each V stitch is separated by a chain, and you work into the chain spaces after Row 1.
Abbreviations:
Ch: Chain
Dc: Double Crochet
Rep: Repeat
Sk: Skip
Sp: Space
St: Stitch
Chain a multiple of 3 (for example 24)
Row 1: [Dc into the 4th Ch from the hook, Ch 1, Dc into same Ch, Sk 2 Ch] Rep until there are just two Ch left, Dc into last Ch, turn
Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as St), [Dc into Ch Sp, Ch 1, Dc in same Sp] Rep until the left with turning Ch, Dc into turning Ch, turn
Row 3 and onward: Rep Row 2 until desired size is achieved.
