Hey My Crocheters!

We have covered the Spike Cluster Stitch in rows and now I want to write out the stitch pattern in rounds. The stitch works like it does in rounds, but it is not necessary to include extra stitches for the chain. To extend this pattern the repeat round 6 followed by three rounds of single crochet, and then repeat round 8 for as many rounds as you want. It will be necessary to increase to keep the circle flat.

  1. Magic Circle or Alternative 8 single crochet (Sc) (8)

  2. Increase (Inc) in each stitch (16)

  3. [1 Sc, Inc] 8 times (24)

  4. [2 Sc, Inc] 8 times (32)

  5. [3 Sc, Inc] 8 times (40)

  6. [4 Sc, Inc] 8 times (48)

  7. 4 Sc, [Spc, 7 Sc] 5 times (48)

  8. to 8. Sc around (48)

  9. 10 Sc, [Spc, 8 Sc] 5 times (48)

  10. [5 Sc, Inc] 8 times (56)

  11. [6 Sc, Inc] 8 times (64)

  12. [7 Sc, Inc] 8 times (72)

  13. Repeat Round 6 (72)

  14. to 15. Sc around (72)

I hope you found this helpful and happy hooking!
