Hey My Crocheters!
I have discovered the beauty of the Catherine Wheel Stitch pattern. It is a fun pattern that is a four row repeat. I have the written steps below and check out my youtube channel for the tutorial. This Catherine Wheel is a multiple of 10 + 6 (+ 1 for the base chain). The stitch also features double crochet clusters to give a pin wheel effect. Do not working into the turning chain on rows 4 and 5. Chain of 3 does not count as a stitch.
Special Stitches:
7CL: 7 Double Crochet Cluster
[Yo, insert hook into St, pull up a loop, Yo, pull through 2 loops] 7 times, Yo, pull through all loops on hook.
4CL: 4 Double Crochet Cluster
[Yo, insert hook into St, pull up a loop, Yo, pull through 2 loops] 4 times, Yo, pull through all loops on hook.
3CL: 3 Double Crochet Cluster
[Yo, insert hook into St, pull up a loop, Yo, pull through 2 loops] 3 times, Yo, pull through all loops on hook.
Row 1: 2 Sc, [Sk 3 Sts, 7 Dc into next St, Sk 3 Sts, 3 Sc] 5 times, Sk 3 Sts, 4 Dc into last St, turn (56)
Row 2: 2 Sc, [Ch 3, 7CL (see Special Stitches), Ch 3, 3 Sc] 5 times, Ch 3, 4CL (see Special Stitches), turn
